Currently Craving: Under $100

This weeks favorite finds under $100! Regardless of the current situation, Summer is still on its way and I cannot wait for warmer days, sunshine and hopefully (fingers crossed) a lot of weekends spent at the beach. The below items are definitely putting me in a sunny state of mind and all under $100!

Peachy

This past weekend my best girlfriends and I all met up in Savannah, Georgia to celebrate on of our dearests Bachelorette party. This southern city did not disappoint! From peddle pubs to ghost tours we had a blast! Brunch was delicious, and I’m not sure how Ill ever be able to do bottomless without also taking a mimosa to go. Each rooftop bar had a better view than the next and the all over romance of the south has me ready to migrate down again soon. With such fun outdoor activities all weekend, I have to say, one of my favorite parts of the whole city is how it has maintained its historical southern charm throughout the times. I could have wandered those moss lined streets the whole weekend, as each house was prettier than the next. The only thing getting me over being back north is the thought of getting to head to Charleston in the next couple weeks!

My favorite of all the homes we saw. I love the turquoise shutters and mahogany door against the stark white stucco.
Brunch at The Broughton Commons could not have been more unique and delicious! Pro tip if you go, get the waffles and duck.
ToGoSa, aka a to go mimosa from The Broughton Commons. Another great perk of the city is their open container policy. Wine to go please!
Each house (mansion) was prettier than the next
Trying to figure out how I transplant these Southern Live Oaks to the North East, with the Spanish Moss included.
I could post up on Forsyth Park all day people watching and taking in the sunshine. It truly was beautiful.
The Forsyth Park Fountain did not have the best lighting but it was fun to see the water festive for St. Patrick’s day (St. Practice Day weekend)
Again, sorry for all the home pics, I could just not get enough of them!
One more because, that porch!!!!

Romantic Dresses

Emma, 2020

With the upcoming rendition of Jane Austen’s Emma, lately I have been day dreaming about period costumes. What is it about these dresses and gowns that sing spring? From Sophia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette to Pride and Prejudice, all are splashed with the most feminine fabrications in pale shades of yellow, blush and cream. Delicate embroidery, ruffles and bows, all make living in the 18th and 19th centuries seem so dreamy. See below for my picks of the most romantic dresses for spring in the 21st Century.

Straw Bag Season

As soon as January is over, my mind automatically turns to spring/summer clothing and accessories. Even with it being 38 degrees out, all I want are dresses, sandals and straw bags. Ahh straw bags, my accessory weakness right after statement earrings. My boyfriends likes to refer to them as my basket bag’s and unfortunately for him, I have curated a very nice collection over the years. However with each returning spring season, I can’t help but find myself adding/wanting new styles. Scroll below to see my new favorites for everyday or a fun occasion!
